本研究以臺灣苑裡小鎮的地方書寫為核心,從官方志書的記錄出發,延伸至民間文化書寫的實踐歷程。透過對《苑裏志》與《苑裡鎮志》等官方文本的分析,對照在地團體「苑裡掀海風」的文化實踐與書寫行動,本文指出:地方書寫不僅侷限於文字的記錄,更涵蓋多元的行動形式,進而構築出地方文化與情感認同的多重層次。
本研究援引Tim Cresswell 的地方感建構理論與段義孚的戀地情結觀點,探討書寫實踐如何形塑地方認同。進一步結合石田一良與范銘如等學者對官方與民間知識路徑的分析觀點,拆解苑裡地區的詩人、文化行動者與公民書寫者,如何透過抒情筆法、在地經驗與主體位置的書寫實踐,重新賦予苑裡文化與記憶嶄新的意義。
經由文本分析與人物訪談,本文指出苑裡地區的地方書寫展現出語言操作、行動實踐與角色轉換的交織歷程,形構出兼具制度與民間視野的「混合型地方書寫者」,為地方文化記憶開啟新的書寫篇章。
This research focuses on local writing in Yuanli, a small town in western Taiwan. It begins with the official records in local gazetteers and extends to the cultural writing practices of civil groups. By analyzing official texts such as The Gazetteer of Yuanli and The Yuanli Town Chronicle, and comparing them with the actions of the local group “Yuanli Sayhihome,” this study shows that local writing is not only about recording with words, but also includes various forms of action that build cultural identity and emotional connection to place.
This study uses theories from Tim Cresswell about the sense of place and Yi-Fu Tuan’s idea of topophilia to explore how writing practices help form local identity. It also refers to the ideas of Ishida Ichiryo and Fan Ming-Ru to compare official and civil knowledge paths. Through this, it looks at how poets, cultural workers, and citizen writers in Yuanli use emotional expression, local experience, and their personal positions to give new meanings to Yuanli’s culture and memory.
Based on text analysis and interviews, this research finds that local writing in Yuanli includes language choices, practical actions, and role changes. These elements together create “hybrid local writers” who connect official and civil viewpoints, and open new ways of writing about local memory.
