  • 本研究探討企業社會責任對台灣中小企業的正外部性。本研究採用《勞工健康保護規則》中小企業實施的雙重差分法進行分析,顯示中小企業集中度較高的縣市(實驗組),黃金年齡勞動參與率和遷移率顯著上升。這些人口結構變化促進勞動品質的提高,這得益於居住環境、公共衛生的改善以及更具支持性的勞動力市場。這些發展也體現在女性友善和勞資關係的加強。研究結果強調人力資本在促進企業永續發展的重要性。


    This study investigates the positive externalities of corporate social responsibility (CSR) among Taiwanese small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Utilizing a difference-in-differences approach based on the implementation of the SMEs’ Labor Health Protection regulation, the analysis reveals that counties with higher concentrations of SMEs (the treatment group) experienced significant increases in prime-age labor force participation and migration rates. These demographic shifts contributed to enhanced labor force quality, driven by improved residential environments, better public health, and a more supportive labor market. These developments are further reflected in a more female-friendly environment and stronger employer-employee relationships. These findings underscore the importance of human capital in advancing corporate sustainability.
