根據工研院在2022年11月2日舉辦《眺望2023產業發展趨勢研討會》的消息，雖然全球總體受到通膨影響，衝擊終端電子產品市場消費動力，但工研院產科國際所仍預期今年台灣半導體業總產值可達到新台幣4.7兆元，較去年成長15.6%，遠高於全球半導體平均4.0%的成長水準，明年包括晶圓代工、IC設計、封裝測試等都有成長動能，台灣IC產業產值將突破5兆元再創新高。

人工智慧(AI)是2020年至今很夯的話題，特別是2022年底發表的ChatGPT應用。但眾所周知藉由AI成功的IC設計業者，只有少數如NVIDIA/AMD/Google之類的大公司。台灣的IC設計業者，在這一波的AI浪潮中，有什麼樣的成長機會嗎？

本文擬以筆者所在的Ｎ公司為例，以「馬桶座墊」的自動掀蓋解決方案，說明IC設計業者如何讓AI技術成功商品化。

According to news from the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) at the "Looking Forward to 2023 Industry Development Trends Seminar" held on November 2, 2022, although the global economy has been affected by inflation, which has impacted consumer demand for terminal electronic products, the ITRI Industrial Technology International Department still expects Taiwan's semiconductor industry to reach a total output value of NT$4.7 trillion this year, a growth of 15.6% from last year, which is far higher than the global semiconductor industry's average growth rate of 4.0%. Next year, including wafer foundry, IC design, packaging and testing, all have growth momentum, and the output value of Taiwan's IC industry will exceed NT$5 trillion, creating a new high.
　　
Artificial intelligence (AI) has been a hot topic since 2020, especially since the launch of ChatGPT in late 2022. However, it is widely known that only a few large companies, such as NVIDIA/AMD/Google, have successfully implemented AI in IC design. What growth opportunities do Taiwan's IC design companies have in this AI wave?
　　
This article aims to use the example of Company N, where the author works, to explain how IC design companies can successfully commercialize AI technology using the automatic lid-lifting solution for toilet seats.
