摘要
現今社會網路發展十分昌盛，擁有使用電腦與網路的能力，能使人們更快適應這個科技日新月異的時代，若將該能力應用於生產之上，應當能提高生產效率，為薪資帶來正向幫助。本研究依據2006、2012、2015三個電腦與網路發展轉捩年度之資料作為討論對象，以Krueger(1993)為主要參考文獻，根據其脈絡探討電腦與網路使用經驗對於薪資的影響，並以中研院資料調查中心的個人家戶數位機會調查資料為基礎，應用Heckman Two Stage模型之估計方法，針對電腦和網路使用與薪資之間的關係進行分析，欲了解此三年度中，電腦和網路使用帶給薪資何種程度的影響。
本文的估計過程以六種包含不同變數的模型來進行，依不同深度的層次探討該主題，研究結果發現:曾使用電腦和網路者，其薪資會比其他未曾使用者高，尤其以使用經驗年數越長者更是如此。跨年度估計更發現，以呈現顯著結果的模型而言，電腦和網路的使用對薪資的影響力會隨時間降低，同時也因2012年發展高峰而呈現較大的影響力。進一步探討則發現以文書處理、娛樂為使用目的者，會對薪資產生負向影響；以電子商務、搜尋生活資訊或在工作中使用網路者，有助於薪資的提升。根據本文的研究發現，在台灣社會中使用電腦和網路對薪資帶來的影響程度，會隨著電腦相關技術發展的起伏而改變，但普遍而言，擁有電腦和網路使用經驗者仍然保有薪資優勢。

Abstract
The Internet is well-developed nowadays, people adapt to the newest science and technology quickly if they have the skills to use computers and the Internet. It will positively affect wages when we combine these abilities with work practically. This thesis is focused on the years 2006, 2012, and 2015 which are turning points in the development of computer and Internet technology. We try to follow Krueger (1993) to analyze the effect of computers and Internet use on wages. The empirical approach of the Heckman’s two-stage procedure is applied to the data from the Digital Opportunity Survey for Individuals and Household from the Survey Research Data Archive. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the impact of computers and Internet use on wages in these three years.
We study this issue through six models which contain different variables. The results indicate that people who used to use computers and the Internet or those who use them for a long time have higher wages. The impact decreases over time from the cross-year analysis. Additionally, a negative effect on wages was found with the use of MS Office or leisure application software and a positive effect on wages with the use of E-commerce and Daily Life Applications. The findings show that the impact of computers and Internet use on wages in Taiwan changed with the ups and downs of developments in computer-related technology. In general, the abilities to use computers and the Internet improved workers’ productivity and therefore show a positive influence on their wages.
