基於PC產業競爭環境多變且激烈,且硬體毛利日益減少,另一方面,各品牌公司皆進而轉型為服務導向的趨勢,在有限的資源情況下,企業在維修物件組合管理上,如何在研發階段規劃出適當的維修物件組合策略,以減少售後服務維修成本且維持客戶滿意度已成為重要營業目標和研究議題。
本研究採用紫式決策分析,針對筆記型電腦品牌公司如何透過評估產品設計階段時對於維修物件的規劃,進而避免維修成本增加於售後服務階段之預防措施和決策,歸納三大根本目標: 「符合工程設計」、「平衡關鍵物件維修方式比例」、「簡化維修程序」;並以AHP分析法找出各考量因子之相對權重,經由筆記型電腦研發階段維修物件中四十七種類之兩大關鍵主要服務物件(主機板、面板)組成三個配置方案:高模組化方案、低模組化方案、中模組化方案,再依據根本目標層級展開及其屬性權重,歸納出最合適之設計組合以達到減少售後服務之維修成本目標。根據專家問卷分析權重,再除以相關成本後,算出成本效益,進而得知高模組化設計最為適用於大型企業用戶市場之方案,由此結論將提供給產品設計研發中心更進一步的規劃參考方案。本研究並以美商某筆記型電腦製造商公司為實證研究,在不影響研究效度及分析下,本研究中的資料及指標以作必要之修正,以保障產學合作研究公司之營業機密,實證結果已驗證本研究之效度與可行性。
In the complex PC-based industry, the competitiveness among high-tech companies is increasingly intensive. Meanwhile, the profit margin of hardware is on the decline. Brand companies have transformed to be service-oriented solution providers. Given the limited resources for product service design center, how to align with the company business strategies and maintain customer satisfaction through developing the appropriate portfolio and configurations of service parts has become an important issue for the global service management team of PC companies.
To fill the gap, this research aims to develop an effective approach based on UNISON decision analysis framework with analytic hierarchy process (AHP) that involves performing in-depth interviews with domain experts to extract their knowledge for service management ,analyzing the relative weights of the international factors and considered attributes for market requirements to derive the recommended weight of each index. In particular, three fundamental objectives,namely "compliance to engineering design requirements", "balance the quantity of service parts definition on FRU/CRU “, and "simplify repairing procedures" are derived and transformed into an objective hierarchy.
The above mentioned approach is applied to analyze motherboard sub-assembly and LCD panel sub-assembly, historically the key parts with the highest repair rate among the 47 categories of notebook computer service parts. Three alternative solutions are proposed as the alternative designs of these two sub-assemblies, high modularization, low modularization,and medium modularization.The high modularization solution is found to be the most appropriate for large business enterprise customers to reach the target of reducing the maintenance cost of the after-sales service based on the AHP weighting methodology..Following UNISON decision analysis framework, an empirical study of the design portfolios of notebook service parts was conducted as part of this investigation and identified the opportunities of maximizing the utilization of the service parts.The results have shown practical viability of the developed approach.
