This study investigates the impact of integrating the DDMT (Discover, Define, Model,
Transfer) teaching model with sports science-based STEAM education in elementary
school inline skating classes. A two-week program consisting of eight sessions was
conducted with 55 students using a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest design. The
curriculum aimed to enhance students' inquiry, problem-solving, and application of
    interdisciplinary knowledge through real-world contexts.
Assessments included a cognitive test, a physical education attitude scale, and a motor
skills scale. Results from paired-sample t-tests revealed significant improvements in
students’ cognitive understanding, learning attitudes, and motor skill performance.
The curriculum not only increased student motivation and engagement but also aligned
well with the competency-based goals of Taiwan's 12-Year Basic Education curriculum.
This research offers valuable insights for developing innovative physical education
    programs that incorporate STEAM principles.
