本研究以探究國民中學教練領導行為與風格為主要目的,以瞭解與描繪學生運動員學校生活適應為延伸議題,旨在探究國民中學運動教練領導行為與風格之現況,以及教練領導行為與風格對於學生運動員學校生活適應之影響。
研究採文獻探討、現場觀察、訪談與文件分析等方式進行質性研究。以兩所國民中學校內運動校隊為個案,合作的對象為個案學校之教練、教師、行政人員與學生運動員共9位。資料蒐集方式包括訪談、觀察、文件,以及反省札記。資料分析採用敘說分析。研究信實度採行三角檢證、參與者檢核、情境脈絡之瞭解及厚實描述研究歷程等。
本研究發現教練領導行為與風格之不同會影響學生運動員之學校生活適應情形。領導是一種交互作用的歷程,過程是動態的,不可預測的,唯有不斷的學習、觀察,提升自身專業技能與智能、修正溝通的方式與技巧、強化協調整合能力,修正自己的領導行為以符合情境,創造出團隊績效。學校運動性校隊教練肩負學校、教師、學生運動員及家長之殷殷期待,於是提升運動教練自身專業技能與素養是有其必要。
The major objective of this research is to study the coach leadership and characters which help to know and depict the developing issue about the school life adaption of student athletes. The research aims at exploring the present facts in coach leadership, characters, and the effects in school life adaptation of student athletes.
This research proceeds in quality proposal with related reference discussion, field observation, interviews, and documents analysis. It includes the school team athletes of two middle schools in the enrolled district. The research evidence includes nine cases of cooperators who are the coaches, teachers, administrational officers, and student athletes. This research applies the narration analysis. The strategies for the study credibility apply Triangulation, anticipant checks, the full understanding of situation context, research portfolio, etc.
The difference of coach leadership and characters will affect student athletes’ school adaption discovered from this research. Leadership is one kind of interactive process which is dynamic and unpredictable. The success is resulted from the continuous learning, observation, advance of personal professional skills, intelligence, communicative methods, and integrity strength in coaching. The coach needs to correct personal leadership by meeting the authentic situations to create teamwork victory. The coach of sports teams is responsible for the expectation and demands of school, student athletes, and the students’ parents. Advancing the coach’s professional skills and capacity are needed.
