  • 男女平均收入之間的差異稱為性別薪酬差距 (GPG)。 GPG 存在於幾十年前,近代也存在。因此,基於性別的研究受到了極大的關注。目前的研究分析了印度的 GPG 狀況,重點關注與 GPG 相關的法律和政策以及如何改進它們。在這項研究中,討論了與印度不同州的 GPG 案件有關的法庭聽證會,表明政府制定的法律存在缺陷。此外,還通過採訪印度律師進行了調查。他們被問到的問題突出了印度 GPG 情況的原因和可能的補救措施。除此之外,印度的GPG情況與其他四個國家,即愛爾蘭、英國、美國和台灣進行了比較。基於這些分析,建議了一個可能的解決方案來改善印度的 GPG 情況。


    Difference between average earning of men and women is termed as gender pay gap (GPG). GPG existed decades ago and it exists in recent times also. Therefore, gender-based study has got significant attention. The current study analyzes GPG condition in India with focus on law and policies related to GPG and how they can be improved. In this study, court hearing related to GPG cases of different states of India is discussed indicating the shortcoming in the laws made by the government. Furthermore, a survey was conducted by interviewing Indian lawyers. They were asked questions highlight the reason and possible remedies of GPG situation in India. In addition to that, the GPG situation of India is compared with that of four other countries, namely Ireland, United Kingdom, United State and Taiwan. Based on these analyzes, a possible solution is recommended to improve the GPG situation in India.
