本創作論述探究個人對於生命繁衍與自然萬物的觀察體悟,以陶藝立體雕塑
創作為主體,佐以柴燒燒成技法,將自然有機的概念運用於作品的造形之上,捕
捉珍貴的生命元素轉換於個人的情感創作,是一種技藝的傳承,也是一種生命的
延續,透過柔軟的土,展現出不同面貌的生命之美,藉由創作的同時自由地與土
地互動,運用泥土釋放純粹的原初本心。在本創作論述中,收集台灣本地不同的
原生黏土,從試片研究到創作實踐中,探索自然材料之美,搭配柴窯的火焰與自
然落灰,轉換成新生且永恆的大地質感。
從探討生衍的意義,爬梳柴燒的歷史脈絡,最後探討柴燒陶藝的美學,提出
對於柴燒陶藝的三大核心精神:土礦的內在生命、火焰的儀式與意義、身體勞
動的價值,柴燒創作不僅僅是追求那隨機與偶然,更需要深入探究其中的意義
與美的追求,在創造作品的過程中,堅定的追尋所認同的美,並將自由的意志
透過土壤、火焰,化為永恆。
從柴燒陶藝的脈絡與美學,記錄與分析台灣的土壤的原色,與柴燒後的對應
關係,揭露台灣在地土壤的可能性,期盼透過筆者的創作,讓觀者感受到生機無
限的世界,並對於環境、身邊的事物更加共感與連結,感受到大地母親的迷人與
奧秘,看見黏土的轉生之美。
最終作品呈現以羽系列、地系列、器形物件三大系列作品,並且展示台灣各
地土壤於柴燒之研究成果,大小作品百餘件,並拍攝一部紀錄片於展場放映。
This creation discussion explores personal observation and understanding of life born
and derived all things in nature. It takes the creation of t ceramic sculptures, and uses
wood-firing techniques to apply the concept of natural organicity to the shape of the
work to capture the transformation of precious life elements. Personal emotional
creation is an inheritance of skills and a continuation of life. Through the soft clay, it
shows the beauty of life in different aspects. By freely interacting with the land while
creating, using the clay to release the pure original heart . In this study, explore the
wild clay of Taiwan, collect from different place in Taiwan, To test piece clay
research to creative practice, explore the beauty of natural materials, and transform
them into new and eternal objects with the woodfire kiln and natural ash of earth
texture.
From discussing the meaning of born and derived, then combing the historical context
of woodfire, and finally discussing the aesthetics of woodfire ceramics, I put forward
three core spirits of my definition of woodfire: the inner life of clay, the ritual and
meaning of flame, The value of physical labor, woodfire creation is not only the
pursuit of randomness and chance, but also the pursuit of meaning and beauty. In the
process of creating works, firmly pursue the beauty you agree with, and use free will
Through the soil, through the flames into eternity.
From the context and aesthetics of wood-fired pottery, record and analyze the original
color of Taiwan's clay, and the corresponding relationship with wood-firing, reveal
the possibility of wild clay, and hope that through the author's creation, the audience
will feel the infinite vitality. The world, and more sympathy and connection with the
environment and things around us, feel the charm and mystery of Mother Earth, and
see the beauty of reincarnation of clay
