本研究旨在利用質量兼顧的內容分析法去了解國民小學實施九年一貫的課程中，社會學習領域教科書政治社會化內容分布情形與呈現方式。研究者藉由探討九年一貫社會學習領域課程內涵以及政治社會化理論與實證研究，來作為教科書內容分析的理論架構。本研究的政治社會化內涵即是社群成員所支持的政治系統，分別是「政治社群」、「政治典則」、「權威當局」和「政策傾向」，研究者以此四個內涵訂定內容分析所需之主題類目。

本研究主要目的，是為了了解國小社會學習領域教科書不同版本(康軒、南一、翰林)，以及國小三個學習階段之政治社會化的內涵、分布情形與呈現方式。研究者以通過審查的國小97學年度生活與社會教科書為研究對象，通過審查且同時有出版生活課程與社會領域教科書的出版商為康軒、南一(含乙版)、翰林三家出版社，故此三家為研究主要分析對象。

研究發現，社會學習領域教科書含涉相當程度的政治社會化色彩，尤以第二、三學習階段的政治社會化學習內容最為充實；主題類目分布情形，依序為「政策傾向」、「政治社群」、「政治典則」、「權威當局」，三個版本的四個主題類目卻呈現分布不均現象；三個版本都重視「政策傾向」與「政治社群」，政策傾向實質內容著重古今歷代台灣各項經濟政策與建設，政治社群強調民族文化與愛國精神，相對的三個版本皆忽略「權威當局」，最不受重視的實質內容是「政治團體」；政治社會化次類目內涵分布情形也同樣不均衡，最為強調的次類目為「經濟政策」與「社群民族文化與愛國精神」，最被忽略的次類目為「政治團體」與「大陸政策」。

The Abstract

This research use both the quality and quantity ways of content analysis
to understand the distribution and the presentation of the political socialization in the textbooks of Social studies of the Grade 1-9 curriculum. The researcher explores the content of the Social studies, the theory of the political socialization, and the empirical research in order to build a theoretical framework for analyzing textbook content. The nature of the political socialization is the political system supported by community members, which includes “political community”, “political regime”, “ authority”, and “policy tendency”, which are used as the main category for content analysis.

This study aims to investigate different versions of Social studies textbooks of primary school level ( Kang Hsuan, Nan-I, Hanlin ), examining the content, distribution and presentation of political socialization at the three learning stages. The researcher looks into the textbooks of Life curriculum and Social studies from the publishers who have served in both fields --- Kang Hsuan , Nan-I, Han-lin. These three publishers are the main targets in this study.

The findings are as below:

The Social studies textbooks contain political socialization to a considerable extent, especially at the second and third learning stages where there is abundant lessons of political socialization. The main subject categories are “policy tendency”, “political community”, “political regime”, and “authority”. The three versions of textbook presents uneven distribution of the four subject categories. All the three versions value the policy tendency and political community. “Policy tendency” focus on the various economic policies and development in the history of Taiwan. “Political community” emphasizes the tribal cultures and patriotism. In contrast, all the three versions overlook “authority”, and, most of all, ignore “political group” in content. There is also uneven distribution of the sub-categories of political socialization. The most stressed ones are “economic policy” and “community tribal culture and patriotism”. The most-neglected ones are “political groups” and “Mainland policy”.
