活體劑量驗證是在放射治療的過程中以最直接的方式去監控病患所接受到的實際劑量。在歐美國家已有一系列之論文發表,在台灣也有多年的研究。
本研究藉由簡化活體劑量驗證之協定,包含省略修正因子及穿透率曲線的建立,來建立一套簡易及快速於各家醫院使用之協定,並且使系統仍保有準確性。根據本次實驗得知簡易協定之結果,在用6 MV的光子射束治療頭頸部癌症下建議以算數平均法估算劑量;在用10 MV的光子射束治療骨盆腔癌症下建議以幾何平均法估算劑量。此外,本研究也嘗試將活體劑量驗證系統運用在組織結構不對稱及腫瘤偏移人體正中央之情形下,藉由量測骨盆腔癌症病患的前後對照之照野,得知活體劑量驗證系統可運用在人體前後的組織結構不對稱上。
