本論文採用腦事件相關電位(Event-Related Potentials,簡稱ERPs)實驗,探討在台灣使用閩南語的失語症病人,歷經中風的腦部損傷後,對於不同類別詞彙理解的能力是否有所不同。透過回顧過去的文獻,我們認為失語症病人癒後的詞彙理解能力與其口語流利表現有某些程度上的相關。而且,面對不同詞性的詞彙也會產生不同的反應。我們預期口語能力愈流利者,有分辨名詞類語意上的困難。口語能力愈流利者,則具有區辨動詞詞彙的優勢。
我們採用三段式的實驗方式,各段包含一種詞類內容:名詞、操作型名詞、動詞。腦傷受試者共9位(5位左腦腦傷/4位右腦腦傷),並輔以10位無腦傷對照組。結果發現,無腦傷對照組於三種詞彙類別語意不符合的情況下,皆被引發N400,而且,名詞類詞彙引發N400的位置靠近額葉─中央部位,動詞類詞彙則靠近左前額葉的位置。
左腦腦傷受試者在名詞詞彙的表現,與口語流利度有關係。口語能力愈流利,愈不容易引發名詞歧義的負波。反之,口語能力愈流利,愈容易引發動詞歧義的負波。然而,操作型名詞的表現則尚無法證實是否與口語能力有關。我們推測辨別操作型名詞詞彙的運作功能,可能包含名詞與動詞的辨認機制,因此較不容易區分出來。
The present study is trying to figure out how it would be after brain damage. We’re going to discuss about aphasics lexical comprehension including noun, verb, and manipulative noun. After review past articles, we think that aphasics lexical comprehensive is correlated with fluency. We predict the more fluency, the more difficulty on nouns. And the more fluency, the more understanding on verb.
Materials are 80 pairs nouns and 40 pairs verbs. Both are presented by sound-picture pair. Procedure is performing as: first, subjects would hear one verb/noun, following by a picture drawing something match or mismatch with previous item. At last, subjects should decide if the picture and the item is match or mismatch. There’re 9 brain damage patients ( 5 aphasics / 4 right hemisphere damage patients) and 10 normal controls. We find that normal controls elicited N400 in every incongruent context. We found N400 elicited on frontal-central on nouns, and elicited on left anterior frontal area.
It concluded that it is more difficult to elicit N400 on nouns when patient is good at fluent. And it is easy to elicit N400 on verb when patient is good at fluent. At last, it is difficult to know how we work on manipulative noun. Maybe that is because manipulative noun need too much power to process.
