The main findings of these study are: (a) management departments published the most thesis, however human resource departments only published 18 thesis; (b) major research targets came from high-tech industries; (c) most targets holds a mid-to-higher managerial position; (d) the most popular research tool was questionnaire; (e) training and development of managerial competency was the spotlight of these studies, however seldom study focuses on this issue; (f) nearly equal weight was given to the various aspects of management competencies among these studies; and (g) the writing of abstracts was failed to reach the required segments. Finally, research suggestions for human resource management and future studies form the major conclusion of this study.
