一般電磁阻尼的研究與應用均偏重於側向振動的探討與防制,本研究則在探討旋轉物體採用電磁阻尼的效果,而此結果可應用在扭振上的防制。首先,就阻尼力產生之成因作一說明,再者利用麥克思威爾方程式來推導導體運動切割磁力線產生渦電流的理論式,。渦電流的分佈依表面效應來分佈,本文亦以解析方式推導渦電流方程式,進而求解渦電流。接著就推導的理論式作一模擬分析,了解渦電流在導體表面的分佈狀態。最後架設一實驗架構針對產生感應磁通密度分佈範圍予以量測,而後分析探討理論及實驗結果之差異。
