This thesis investigates the creative context of my art works of felted wool from 2012 to 2015. Chapter one ' Introduction ' deals with the motif and major content of my thesis with its research method. In chapter two ' Background ', I make reflections on various topics for animal protection, ecological destruction, life ethics and cancer pathology. Besides, history of human usage of wool or animal skin /hair is also explored to elucidate the reason of such human fondness. A further reconsideration of animal rights and human obligation would make clear how different modes of human thought, culture and social development could influence our attitude and behaviour toward nature, including causing possible environmental deterioration and ecological crisis. In chapter three ' Utterance of Art ', my emphasis of research would rest on three relevant artists, both media used and issues concerned, i.e. Zoe Williams, Stephanie Metz and Annette Messager. Through analysing the creative ideas and evolving process of art works during my graduate school days, I try to clarify my motivation and basic tone for a maturation of works in context. Issues discussed include anti-animal skin/hair selling , nucleus energy, ethical problems relating to animal experiment and gene renovation. I would put my major concern thus in chapter four ' Turn Back to Cells ' on cancer pathology so that cancer cells become remarkable in their visual growing. I proceed also to analyse the stuff explored, process of my creation and specific way of installation. Chapter five ' Conclusion ' renders out at last a summary of my research and a prospecting direction for my future creation.
