我Sayun Tuyaw撒韵督耀，身為Tuyaw Syat督耀夏德(李福生)頭目的女兒，只是單純地想要為自己爸爸發聲，只是單純的想要更多人能看見我的英雄爸爸；也是一個女兒想要努力靠近父親－從小時候對於假日爸爸的不諒解，到如何重新看見英雄爸爸的一段重要歷程。
本研究旨在探究爸爸的一生。以爸爸的訪談敘說為主，蒐集資料為輔，整理其從出生、成長一直到承擔起部落頭目以來的重要生命經歷。
第三章著重在爸爸從出生到結婚前的重要成長經歷。從小時候的漂流記、撲蜂救友、為弟捨命(從柿子樹上掉下來)…等大難不死的經驗；在求學過程中為父輟學、忍受著當時同學對於原住民歧視眼光的生命歷程…等，這些生命困頓經驗並沒有將爸爸給擊倒，反而成為他詞曲創作的養分，一連創作了數十首的歌曲，也因著上帝所賦予的創作天賦，爸爸的生命開始有所不同。
第四章則著重於爸爸與媽媽如偶像劇般的相遇、相知、相惜以至相守到白頭。過程中爸爸媽媽是如何經營小家庭，也因著爸爸的頭目身分，讓鶼鰈情深的兩人必須熬過十五年的假日夫妻，過程中的辛酸又是如何？直到現在成為三個孫子的祖父，那又是另一段生命經歷的困頓與考驗…但爸爸始終樂觀以對生命中一段又一段的險境。
第五章則主要強調爸爸如何在斷層的頭目世家中，一肩扛起泰雅頭目的責任並默默耕耘的傳承泰雅文化。除了讓更多的人了解泰雅族的頭目文化，更重要的是能看見何以爸爸在年輕的歲月，就能讓部落的耆老願意將棒子重新交還頭目世家，並選擇由他來承接。不僅重振頭目世家的威望，更帶領部落邁向新的展望，並持續地以行動將泰雅文化繼續傳承下去的生命故事。
每個文化都有其特殊性及獨特性，文化演變亦難以用類推去推衍出來。原住民文化中並沒有自己的文字，從古至今皆是以口傳、敘說…等方式流傳並透過研究者進行田野調查等相關研究後書寫下來，將之保存並流傳，而使文化得以延續。
我，身為一個泰雅族部落頭目的女兒，也在用我的方式一點一滴的紀錄著頭目世家的故事，故事未完待續~~~

Being daughter of leader Tuyaw Syat (Li Fusheng), I, Sayun Tuyaw, simply want to voice for my father and let more people recognize my hero. By doing so, I am also trying to get closer to him. It’s a great change of my perspective from not understanding my “weekend father,” who I can only see on weekends, to resee him as a hero.
This research is a chronicle of Tuyaw Syat’s life, based mainly on interviews with him and some auxiliary data collection, covering important events of his life from his birth, growth, until he undertaking the responsibility of leader.
Chapter 3 focuses on Tuyaw Syat’s life experiences prior to his marriage. As for his school life, he dropped out for his father and had to endure classmates’ colored eyes at an aborigine as he was. All these difficult times didn’t knock him down but became inspiration for dozens of his works on lyrics and music. Having this gifted ability for songwriting, his life started to change.
Chapter 4 tells the dramatic romance of Tuyaw Syat and his wife: how they meet, fall in love and cherish each other till their hair turn white. They have established a small family in their way and manage to stay a close couple while only having weekends to spend together for 15 years. How bitter could that be? And now, being grandfather to three grandchildren, Tuyaw Syat is encountering a brand-new challenge. Even so, optimism always gets him through one adventure to another.
In chapter 5, the emphasis is on how Tuyaw Syat takes on the responsibility of Atayal leader in a suspended leader household and passes down the Atayal culture to the next generation. Apart from revealing the leader culture in Atayal to the public, what’s more important is to understand how Tuyaw Syat, at a young age, was able to persuade the elderlies in tribe to reempower the leader household and chose him as successor.
Every culture is so unique that people can hardly analogize any culture’s development.
I, being daughter of an Atayal leader, am trying to put down the story of a leader household in my own way, and the story is to be continued.
