  • Now network technology is mature and still continued progressing fast, and network is also combined with our life. However, on the interface of Internet and multimedia we use video encoding technology to encode our video data, then transfer them to our users by Internet. When our users' clients get data and play them by decoding, this technology is called streaming. We use it to achieve playing videos at real time on the network.
    Because of Internet this network world is so huge transferring environment, during such long travel, there are like heavy traffic loading makes congestions or some routers are crashed these problems, so that make network traffic unstable or disconnected. In this thesis, we design one streaming stability control mechanism. It has the capability of detecting streaming source if it is stable. If occurs unstable、congestion、disconnected conditions, it will not only report but also start backup streaming system concurrently. To provide backup streaming for clients until the original streaming source is back to stable, it achieves the services that our users can get stable streaming always.
    Further, we use streaming stability control mechanism to extend and combine designing one program scheduler system. It has many channels, and every one channel not only provides stable video streaming but can switch different streaming source on the times by the program schedules we edited. It is just like a network TV, and our users can always receive stable video streaming services from this platform. Now the streaming protocols on the network is not only one kind, however, we use WMSP ( Windows Media HTTP Steaming Protocol ) to design and research.
