目前在果蠅腦科學研究上,多以分散式的感測刺激儀器輔以人工方式進行行為資訊的擷取,且由Trikinetic公司販售的果蠅睡眠平台在果蠅睡眠實驗上,仍有些許缺陷。因此本論文設計一新穎的多刺激源模組睡眠監控平台,輔以自動化程式控制,並讓刺激源模組化,能集中在同一平台上進行多種刺激實驗,也可依實驗者需求同時或分開進行控制刺激。本論文也利用此平台,使用音源做為主要刺激源,針對果蠅的睡眠在夜晚播放以期達到干擾效果,希望能改以非接觸的方式來降低果蠅可能因外力造成的傷害。實驗所使用的音源為「脈衝式」的白噪音,於夜晚進行隨機地干擾並以紅外線攝影機錄下晝夜果蠅活動情形,最後由影像分析做後處理。希望此次創新的多刺激源睡眠平台與音源干擾實驗,可以在未來果蠅聽力研究與睡眠研究方面,提供全新的研究模型,並藉著多刺激源模組功能,讓未來科學家可以用更多變化的刺激方式做更深入地研究。
