本研究旨在探究作家五味太郎的繪本中有關幼兒數學概念之分佈情形，瞭解學前教師對繪本中所隱含幼兒數學概念之覺察和應用，然後提出運用繪本協助數學教學之建議，供學前教師、創作者及出版社及未來研究者參考。
本研究資料蒐集以內容分析法為主，以自編之「幼兒數學類目」來分析五味太郎所著之37本中文版繪本，並佐以訪談學前教師，瞭解他們對繪本內容數學概念之覺察。
研究發現如下：
一、五味太郎繪本內容中之數學概念以「圖形與空間」出現率最高
二、五味太郎繪本內容中之數與運算概念以「數」出現率最高
三、五味太郎繪本內容中之圖形與空間概念以「幾何圖形」出現率最高
四、五味太郎繪本內容中之量與實測概念以「單位詞/量詞」出現率最高
五、五味太郎繪本內容中之推理概念以「樣式」出現率最高
六、學前教師所覺察的數學概念與內容分析結果相似
七、學前教師能依照書中存在的數學概念進行延伸活動，或直接就繪本內容設計活動，或利用相關的生活經驗連結繪本中的數學概念

最後，針對以上幾點發現以及研究過程中遇到的困難與限制，提出幾點對於學前教師以及未來研究者一些建議。

The purpose of this study was to investigate the distribution of mathematics concept that was contained in the Gomi Taro's picture books, to understand preschool teachers’ perception of mathematics concept in pictures books, and furthermore to propose suggestions for mathematics teaching.
This study used content analysis and interview to collect data. The subject of this study included 37 Gomi Taro's Chinese version picture books as well as 7 preschool teachers.
Results indicated as follows:
1. The highest percentage of Gomi Taro's picture books is the “Shape and Space”.
2. The highest percentage of Number and Operations is the “counting/number” in Gomi Taro's picture books.
3. The highest percentage of Shape and Space is the “Shape” in Gomi Taro's picture books.
4. The highest percentage of Quantity and Measurement is the “unit” in Gomi Taro's picture books.
5. The highest percentage of Reasoning is the “pattern” in Gomi Taro's picture books.
6. Preschool teachers were aware of mathematical concepts that similar to content analysis results.
7. There is an extension of activities, in accordance with the mathematical concepts of the books from the teachers, or used to extend the life experiences of related connection the mathematical concepts in picture books.

Finally, according to above results and limit progress of this study, we provided some recommendations for teachers and future researchers.
