由於現在醫療設備的發達與日新月異,我國人口的平均壽命不斷增加,年齡的結構也相對愈趨高齡化,在1993 年台灣已達到高齡化的標準,而在高齡化社會的趨勢下,對於老人照護需求更是日益增高,已成為國內社會不可忽視的議題。本研究設計隨身感測裝置並能即時監測活動狀態,進行跌倒事件通報,不僅降低跌倒事件所帶來的心理及身體傷害,還能大幅降低老年人長期照護所造成的巨大社會成本。本研究發展的系統可以有效偵測居家老人活動狀態,提供的身體活動的監測數據資料給專家分析,並且應用於對獨居老人及安養問題。
Nowadays, due to the advance of medical instrument, the average age increases continuously in our country. The population structure becomes more aging, and Taiwan has already reached the standard of aging population in 1993. Therefore, under the trend of aging-population society, the needs of looking after the senior increase daily and the issue can not be ignored in domestic society. This study developed a system with wireless sensors for real-time monitoring and actively reporting the fall events of old people. It can decrease the mental and physical problems by fall events and also reduce the huge costs of looking after the elders. The system developed in this study can effectively detect the activities of daily living, including the fall events, and provide the monitoring data for the analysis by experts. Therefore, it can be applied to solve the problems in taking care of live-alone elders.
