本論文主要在探討建和卑南語比較句結構與教學之應用，研究面向著重於句法結構及語言類型應用於比較句的教學將以何種方式來呈現。建和卑南語比較句採用Stassen (2013) 第一類「固定格位比較」下的兩個類：並列比較與謂語有無標示分兩類記)的比較。
（一）並列比較是利用兩個並列的句子或名詞組來表現比較關係。差比，不管是優或劣，都以 mara- 標記謂語。
（二）事件比較根據 Kuo & Sung (2010:35) 的定義「兩個動作或事件的比較」，其中動詞會呈現焦點形式，同樣包含並列（分名詞組及子句並列）。
（三）其他比較：（1）劣等比較是以 mara- 加上否定詞 melri (不是) 來表述「不如/不及」。（2）等同比較透過 maresan ‘一樣/相同’ 陳述，其比較的特質會透過加後綴 -an 名物化。（3）最高級比較是透過 mara- 加上 CVCV-重疊來表示。

This thesis mainly probes into A study on the comparative constructions and their teaching in Kasavakan Pinuyumayan. The research focuses on how it would be presented when teaching syntactic structures and language types applied to comparative constructions. The comparative constructions in the Kasavakan Pinuyumayan language adopt two categories under the first category of “fixed-case comparatives” by Stassen (2013): juxtaposition comparatives and whether the predicate is marked or not.
( I ) Juxtaposition comparatives is the use of two parallel sentences or noun groups to express comparative relationships. The difference, whether superior or inferior, is predicated with mara-.
( II ) Event comparative is based on the definition of Kuo & Sung (2010:35) as “the comparison of two actions or events”, in which the verb will take on the focus form, and also includes parallel (noun groups and clause parallel) and oblique case comparative.
（III）Other comparatives: ( 1 ) Inferior comparatives use mara- with the negative term melri (not) to express “not as good as/less than”. ( 2 ) Equality comparatives are stated via maresan, indicating ’same/identical’, and the characteristics of the comparison will be nominalized by adding the suffix -an. ( 3 ) The highest-level comparison is represented by mara- with the CVCV-overlap.
