  • 本論文利用相位差分檢測法來產生循軌誤差訊號,循軌誤差訊號在碟片有半徑方向的傾斜角時,訊號會有明顯的偏移。研究過程中必須建立DVD光碟機中的光學讀取模型和循軌伺服系統來模擬讀寫頭循軌的結果。碟片傾斜對於循軌錯誤訊號的影響將被分析,並且在循軌伺服系統中加入了新設計的角度補償器來補償碟片傾斜的效果。
    首先我們介紹和光學讀取模型相關的光學理論,並且探討光學元件之間的轉移函數。接著提出關於碟片傾斜的像差理論。碟片在不同半徑方向傾斜角之下的循軌誤差訊號將被模擬分析,並利用此結果來設計角度補償器。最後比較並且分析沒有角度補償的系統模型和加入角度補償的系統模型的循軌模擬,結果角度補償器大大的改善了循軌的結果。
    本論文所用以模擬的光學讀取模型主要是根據波動光學理論推導而得,和循軌伺服系統皆是用數學軟體MATLAB來建立並且模擬。


    In this thesis, the tracking error signal generated by differential phase detection (DPD) is theoretically analyzed and numerically simulated. The tracking error signal is sensitive to the radial tilt angle but not to tangential tilt angle. A DVD-ROM model is built to simulate optical pickup in DVD drive and an overall tracking servo system is design to simulate tracking performance. Tilt effects on tracking error signal are analyzed and are compensated by a tilt compensator in tracking servo system.
    First, we propose the optical theory related to the mathematical model, and discuss the transfer function between the optical components in the system. Then, we propose the aberration theory resulted from the disk tilt. The tracking error influenced by different radial tilt angles will be simulated and analyzed, and the relations will be established. The tilt compensator will be designed using the relations. Finally, the performances of two tracking control system, one using the original model without tilt compensator and the other using modified model with tilt compensator, are compared while a 3-dimensional vibration model is built. It shows that the tilt compensator improves the tracking performance.
    The mathematical models of DVD-ROM and tracking servo system are built with the mathematical software, MATLAB.
