Studies have shown that traditional safety education training for construction workers lacks specificity and effectiveness, failing to significantly improve workers' safety awareness and skills, which leads to frequent safety accidents in high-rise construction. This study aims to understand the shortcomings of traditional safety training methods and explore the practical needs and challenges of construction site safety management.
The research background covers the development of labor safety and health laws and their importance in modern site management. In response to the rapid changes in construction technology and environments, this study proposes combining QR Code systems with contextual learning to provide real-time updated safety education information, thereby enhancing the safety awareness and behavior of construction workers.
Using in-depth interviews, the study selects construction personnel from diverse backgrounds, ages, and positions as interview subjects. Through qualitative content analysis, the study examines workers' acceptance and usage behavior of new technologies and explores the application of multimodal interaction technology in safety management.
The study finds that a material tracking website using QR Code systems can improve workers' safety knowledge and emergency response capabilities, providing real-time warnings and protective suggestions. Simple and targeted digital learning systems should be designed for different groups, offering differentiated educational content for both novice and experienced workers.
Finally, the study proposes modular and customizable safety management application design recommendations and explores their applicability at different construction stages, providing strategies for future promotion and application.
