提高產品生產的良率是很重要的問題,但如何從製程所得到的數據歸納出重要的資訊來達到提高良率的目的是很重要的,在研究中我們運用多變量分析方法中的主成分分析(principal component analysis)搭配逐步迴歸(stepwise regression)找出影響系統最大的某些變數並訂定其最佳範圍,經由設定這些變數於最佳範圍內來提升產品的良率,在文章當中我們利用生產盤尼西林(penicillin)模擬器在不同設定點下搭配不同的初始條件產生了270組數據,我們拿270組數據的進料初始條件、設定點及最後盤尼西林(penicillin)的濃度資料來做分析,用主成分分析和逐步迴歸挑選出影響最大的幾個變數並訂定其範圍,最後我們歸納出來了4個條件,並用歸納出來的4個條件成功的把生產盤尼西林(penicillin)的良率由0.2提升到0.9以上(我們訂定生產出來的盤尼西林(penicillin)濃度大於1.2(g/L)為好的產品)。
