數位轉型被廣泛認為是維持當今快速變化市場競爭力的重要方面之一。儘管數位轉型在提升營運和創新方面的作用已有充分文獻說明,但關於從中介組織的角度來看如何促進中小企業(SMEs)數位轉型的研究仍相對有限,因此本研究欲著重於透過中介公司角度如何促進中小企業數位轉型。鑑於中介公司在彌補資源缺口、技術支援和提供數位轉型策略指導方面發揮著重要作用,本研究旨在建立中介公司介入與製造業中小企業數位轉型成功之間的聯繫。
本研究採用質性研究方法,分析了主要業務為協助中小企業數位轉型的中介組織的多個案例研究數據,以探索這些公司如何支持中小企業的數位轉型、所採用的策略以及他們遇到的挑戰。本研究提出了一個綜合框架,根據中介公司的角色和客戶的數位成熟度對其進行分類,為中小企業、中介公司提供見解。
Digital transformation was widely recognized as one of the critical aspects for maintaining competitiveness in today’s rapidly changing market. Although the role of digital transformation in enhancing operations and innovation was well-documented, research on how intermediary organizations facilitated digital transformation for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) remained relatively limited. Therefore, this study focused on how intermediary firms promoted digital transformation for SMEs. Given that intermediary firms played crucial roles in bridging resource gaps, providing technical support, and offering strategic guidance for digital transformation, this study aimed to establish the connection between the involvement of intermediary firms and the success of digital transformation in manufacturing SMEs.
Using a qualitative research approach, this study analyzes multiple case studies involving intermediary firms whose primary business is to assist SMEs in digital transformation. The objective is to explore how these firms support SMEs in their digital transformation journeys, the strategies they employ, and the challenges they encounter. This study proposes an integrative framework that categorizes intermediary firms based on their roles and the digital maturity of their clients, providing insights for SMEs and intermediary firms.
