筆記型電腦產品的生命週期非常短,筆記型電腦產業的新產品導入生命週期,從「概念的產生」到量產階段,只剩四到六個月的時間,加上全球性競爭時代的來臨,新產品導入之時效性、品質與產品可靠度,成為企業增加本身競爭力日益重要的一環。本研究之目的在建立完整的筆記型電腦新產品導入績效指標評估系統,利用此評估系統,提供改善建議以提升筆記型電腦業新產品導入的績效。藉由問卷與訪談的方式,收集兩家主要筆記型電腦公司的資料,本研究中所達成之成果包括:1)建構台灣筆記型電腦廠新產品導入績效指標,包括: 27項新績效指標、10項市場面績效指標、9項研發面績效指標、8項製造面績效指標與10項跨部門評估方式(DFX)指標;2)建構一套以EXCEL為基礎,系統化評估的介面『筆記型電腦廠新產品導入績效評估系統』,提供一個人性化的輸入介面,使用者只需依據步驟填寫問卷資料,系統會自動將評估結果輸出,提供使用者本廠的新產品導入績效評比與改善建議。
Abstract
The life cycle of notebook manufacturing is very short. A typical new product design from concept to mass production takes 4 to 6 months. Due to global competition, a fast and high yield, reliable new production introduction (NPI) is one of the major competitive advantages in the industry. The purpose of the research is to establish a new product introduction performance measurement mechanism and evaluating system for notebook computer industry. Data is collected from 2 major manufacturers in Taiwan by questionnaire and interviews. Our contributions include: 1) establishing NPI performance index for notebook computer industry, including 37 new indices, 10 for marketing performance, 9 for R&D performance, 8 for manufacturing performance and 10 cross-functional (DFX) indices; 2) establishing an excel-base evaluating system; 3) providing improving suggestions.
