消費性電子產品生命週期短、產品世代交替快速,電子專業製造服務廠商為提升競爭力必須瞭解消費者需求以設計出消費者喜好的產品。然而,隨著技術的進步與跨功能產品的推出,消費者對新產品的需求越來越多樣化,也讓設計者越難以想像,產品設計不能僅由技術發展之脈絡進行設計,需要萃取使用者經驗作為新產品研發的動力來源。面對上市時間的壓力,萃取使用者經驗的過程必須由系統化的方式來執行以管理其品質與時間。本研究針對萃取使用者經驗的需求,發展使用者經驗實驗設計架構,研究架構包含(1)了解問題、(2)界定利基、(3)架構影響、(4)客觀敘述、(5)主觀衡量、(6)權衡與決策以歸納使用者的需求,協助後續的產品發想,進而推出符合使用者期待的產品以在市場上成功,提升競爭力。本研究由使用者本身的背景資訊、使用者體驗過程中的觀察資料及使用者回應的資料,進行後續分析以了解使用者的偏好及感受。由可操作性流程逐步操作實驗以探討因子與反應變數的關係,並由資料分析與結果解釋以獲得企業需要的資訊作為後續產品設計的決策參考。實證研究與某一電子專業製造服務廠商(Electronic Manufacturing Services,EMS)合作進行實證研究,針對產品設計之議題,分別進行Windows 8作業系統產品測試以協助作業系統產品設計與用者同理心洞察以協助穿戴式產品設計之實證研究,同時透過與專家的討論與實證公司的實際採用以證實其實務價值。
