本論文主要針對新竹縣國民小學絃樂團推展現況之相關內容進行調查研究，擬以五個章節分別陳述之。
第一章緒論共分四節，說明本論文之研究動機、研究目的、研究範圍與限制及名詞釋義。第二章文獻探討共分五節，論述台灣地區絃樂團之發展、台灣地區國民小學絃樂團之發展現況、國小絃樂團籌組相關探討、國小絃樂團與社區之互動及國小絃樂團相關文獻回顧。第三章研究方法與步驟共分六節，由研究對象、研究方法、研究工具、資料處理、實施程序及研究論文架構圖等加以說明。第四章新竹縣國民小學絃樂團推展現況之調查研究共分二節，包含新竹縣國民小學絃樂團推展現況訪談內容及問卷調查結果分析。第五章則藉由上述相關內容之探究，整合性的提出筆者對於新竹縣國民小學絃樂團推展之結論與建議。
本論文之重心為第四章與第五章，筆者試圖對新竹縣國民小學絃樂團推展現況提出實務說明，並將研究工具所獲得之資料加以處理與進行結果分析，歸納出目前所遭遇之困境與未來發展方向，提供有心致力於國小絃樂團合奏教育之音樂教育工作者、教育當局或相關單位，更透明化與系統性的資訊，希望對於新竹縣國民小學絃樂團之運作與推展能有積極具體之助益。

The purpose of the study is to explore the current situation and development of the Hsinchu County Elementary School String Orchestra. The study consists of five chapters.
Chapter One contains four sections that describe the motivation and objectives, scope and limitations, and definitions. Chapter Two reviews related literature in five sections, including the development of string orchestras in Taiwan, current developments of string orchestras in public elementary schools, establishment of elementary string orchestras, as well as their interaction with communities. Chapter Three introduces the research method and procedure in six sections, including participants, methodology, research instruments, data processing, procedures, and the structure diagram of the study. Chapter Four discusses the results of interviews and questionnaires conducted to understand the current status and development of the Hsinchu County Elementary School String Orchestra. Finally, Chapter Five presents the overall conclusions derived from the study and recommendations for the development of the elementary string orchestra.
Chapter Four and Five, the main body of the study, examine the current status of the Hsinchu County Elementary School String Orchestra. The data collected are processed and analyzed to identify problems encountered and future directions for the string orchestra. The study hopes to provide music educators, education authorities, and relevant agencies committed to elementary string orchestra education with more transparent and structured information to assist in the operation and development of the Hsinchu County Elementary School String Orchestra.
