The TFT-LCD is the trend of the display development. TFT-LCD manufacturers are aggressive to integrate the supply chain of raw material and key component vertically, but because of the key technique of the TFT-LCD upstream is hard to be developed and researched, they can not integrate it efficiently. In this paper, we take the TFT-LCD Glass Substrate manufacturers as the subject to investigate the supplier selection of glass substrate manufacturers under the oligopoly market.
It is primarily critical to define the factors for the supplier selection. The general factors in the literature are the Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Service, and investigate the sub-factors under the four scope based on the different industry. This thesis has researched the selection factors of the Continuous Production Equipment Suppliers from the point of the manufacturing technique, and defined the Man-machined Interface and Contract as the new selection factors. Finally, AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) is the model to calculate the selection percentage based on the questionnaires from the experts in the TFT-LCD glass substrate filed, and the conclusion is presented as Continuous Production Equipments Suppliers Selection model based on the Glass Substrate Manufacturers.
