Using a panel dataset of Taiwan’s high technology firm over the periods 2004-2017, we explore the links among firms’ financial condition, R&D investments, and their sales revenue. To analyze the financial condition of manufacturers and the impacts of the R&D investment on firms’ sales revenue, our empirical approach applies the system GMM. The empirical results show that both firms’ R&D investments and financial condition have positive impacts on their sales revenue.
