屬於電腦圖學架構的程序式模型建造(procedural modeling)中,形狀語法(shape grammar)已成功的開發與應用到各項領域,特別是在圖學與考古學中。然而,形狀語法尚未有效的應用至室內空間,無法快速提供給使用者一個具設計感之房間。根據此篇論文,使用者僅需在初始介面點選簡單的設定,即可建構一間兼具個人化與設計感的室內房間。依據使用者每次選擇的不同與一些相關機率變數,形狀語法會執行相異的規則,每次執行結果也會產生不同的三維房間模型。由這些三維的室內房間,我們發現此套系統可以有效率的產生種類不同且各具特色的房間,出乎意料的結果也可以提供使用者更多創意。這篇論文就是利用形狀語法建構此套系統,讓使用者可以簡單快速的產生特色化的室內空間。
Shape grammar for the procedural modeling of computer graphics architecture has been successfully developed and applied to many domains, especially in computer graphics and archaeological science. However, shape grammar for room interior is not yet advanced enough to provide user a three dimensional (3D) designed room. Base on this thesis, people can build a personal and styled room inside by clicking a few buttons in the interface. According to user’s choices and some probabilities, shape grammar will run different rules and then produce distinctive 3D models every time. Results of three dimensional interior room show our grammar generate a variety of rooms efficiently and characteristically. This system also provides interesting and surprising interpretations which can bring up many ideas for users. In this thesis, we use shape grammar to create a system that user can get a styled interior room easily and quickly.
