自從2016年推出以來,Pokemon Go作為一款融合了Pokemon品牌於環境中的手機遊戲已經取得了相當大的成功。在首年推出時,該遊戲就產生了超過9.5億美元的收益,而這種增長趨勢還在持續。為了研究Pokemon Go在擴增實境遊戲產業中的成功因素,本研究深入探討了該遊戲的各種特點。其中最主要驅動因素是精靈寶可夢品牌的強大知名度。其他因素包括精靈寶可夢遊戲的社交互動性、懷舊因素和使用了「暴露效應」的策略。由於這些因素的存在,Pokemon Go已經改變了遊戲產業,為虛擬混合現實遊戲的未來鋪平了道路也進一步擴大了精靈寶可夢的品牌影響力。隨著Pokemon品牌不斷擴展並引入新的遊戲機制和平台,該遊戲有望在未來多年繼續保持成功。
Since its launch in 2016, Pokemon Go has enjoyed a significant level of success as a mobile game that incorporates the Pokemon franchise into a virtual mixed reality setting. In its first year alone, the game generated over $950 million in revenue, and it has since continued to grow steadily. To investigate the factors behind Pokemon Go's success in the AR gaming industry, this study delves into the game's various features. One of the primary drivers of the game's profitability is the strong IP value of the Pokemon franchise. Other factors include the game's social interaction, nostalgia factor, and the use of the Mere Exposure Effect. As a result of these factors, Pokemon Go has revolutionized the gaming industry and paved the way for the future of gaming. With the franchise constantly expanding and introducing new game mechanics and platforms, the game is expected to remain successful for years to come.
