  • 本論文透過對一個IC (Integrated Circuit)設計公司的研發經營做個案研究,來探討中小型企業如何在有限的資源下,進行有效的研發活動。

    整個案例研究,從公司初創的摸索階段,包括市場評估調查,到核心技術能力的建立、組織定位與及上、下游的協同設計與研發模型,都做了一定程度的解析,祈能為中小企業研發策略,建立一個可複製的典範。


    The thesis tries to find out how a resources limited SME ( Small and Medium Enterprise ) could do its R&D activity effectively through a case study on an IC ( Integrated Circuit ) design firm in the silicon valley of Taiwan.
    The case study covered the starting up stage for finish products designing and sale to strategic collaboration of supply chain. The study would descript the adjustment of the company in various stages. It’s a real practice of management theory including organization, positioning, innovation, supply chain management, design collaboration, and patent mapping strategy.
    The purpose of the thesis would focus on real practice of management to build a workable model of R&D strategy for SME that not only lead the SME how to survive but also how to construct the sustainable competitive advantage.
