光子晶體是一種週期性排列並且具有高介電常數對比所構成的一種人工材料,1987年由E. Yablonovitch [1] 和S. John [2] 提出在如此小的尺度下,若使電介質作週性的排列,而此排列之空間週期約落在波長的十分之一至二分之一之間,則某些頻率下將出現光通過或光不通過此介質空間結構的類似半導體性質。因而在系統內形成和電子的週期性位能井類似的能隙,還有一些異常折射的現象。
此論文中我們成功的模擬負折射跟聚焦效應的現象,並且設計了樣品與量測系統。在製程方面研究了光子晶體圓洞結構可以容忍的誤差範圍,在製程上的參數調整也做了一番研究,並且在量測系統上做了一系列的測試來證明我們的量測系統是沒有問題的。
