鑑於高速空氣渦輪牙醫手機較一般低速電動牙鑽手機擁有高轉速、扭力大等特性,使得醫生在進行牙齒的鑽、銑、磨、削操作時,能夠減輕醫師的勞動度並提高工作效率,而且無電及熱衍生相關安全問題產生,因而在口腔醫療單位使用的牙科器具上逐漸成為主流。
然而國內尚未有相關之實驗架構與測試研究以評斷牙鑽手機性能差異,所以本研究建置了一套牙鑽手機性能測試系統,包括無負載下之流體性能測試(壓力、流量及轉速)、給定負載下之機械性能測試(扭力、轉速)以及噪音、振動量測等實驗。除了與文獻比對實驗結果,確認本實驗方法之可靠性外,並結合實用理論建立牙鑽手機性能評估之準則,以提供國內牙鑽手機設計研發之參考依據。
