  • By conducting a study of the Taiwanese incubation system, this paper points out the best practices in term of SME incubations while taking into account the specificities of Senegal’s economy. To do so, the research questions to be answered followings with regard to Senegal:
    i) How to set up and manage a SME incubator?
ii) What is the value proposition of a SME incubator?
iii) What are the key factors of success of a SME incubator?
These questions were answered through a questionnaire distributed to SME incubator managers around the island and a model proposed with some recommendations with regards to its effective implementation in Senegal.
