蛋白質微陣列反應晶片主要發展方向是利用自我組裝單層分子的表面處理,也就是先將基材表面經過前處理後,再將蛋白質固定在特定區域。而將蛋白質穩定的固定在反應晶片表面,且同時保有蛋白質原有的生物活性是蛋白質微陣列晶片發展的重要技術之一。如此一來,在檢測時才能提供最佳的靈敏度與專一性,以平行而快速地分析大量蛋白質資訊。
本研究希望能找到基材是透明的,且適用於本實驗室所發展之蛋白質微陣列系統,不僅如此,其成本還要低廉,以降低做為可棄式反應晶片之成本。本研究對於所選擇之基材,再探討其表面處理的方法,希望可以找到利用共價鍵結的方式,穩定地將蛋白質固定在基材表面,不容易受外在因素影響其鍵結能力。
