本實驗目的在於如何利用有機物的組成來設計電泳顯示器中之電子墨水。利用一簡化的有機分散系統—單一顯色粒子(Rutile TiO2)、分散劑(磷酸酯)、分散介質(正辛烷),來降低有機分散系統的複雜度。由懸浮液之流變行為、黏度量測以及FTIR、NMR、TEM的結果,探討三成份間的作用情形;同時利用DLVO理論,推導整個有機分散系統的分散機制。最後,並將此懸浮液應用在電子墨水裝置中,量測其反射率及反應時間。由量測結果顯示,此一簡化有機系統具有足以應用於電泳顯示器的光學性質。
