摘要
藉由比較Nancy Cartwright與陳瑞麟的模型觀點，並援引經濟學理論構作作為一項案例研究，本文企圖為經濟學家的實作提出一項綜合觀點的後設解釋模型。有關Nancy Cartwright的模型方法論之一般架構，有兩項關鍵的概念：其一為儲能的概念；其二為起因結構的概念。透過這項後設解釋架構，我們可刻劃出經濟學家找尋經濟現象發生的原因之方式；再者，藉由解釋經濟學家持續的找尋經濟現象的可行的起因結構之作為，我們甚至可以將經濟理論構作視為是在提供一項因果敘事，藉由這項因果敘事，經濟學家能夠為該經濟現象提出一個完整的因果解釋。此外，陳瑞麟的模型方法論有三個主要項目可以被用來解釋科學家的實作：首先是最大具體化模型的概念；其次為觀察與理論的互動論；最後則是證據不足決定論。藉由這三項概念構築起來的解釋架構，陳瑞麟的模型便可以針對經濟學家如何使用他們的理論去解釋目標經濟現象提供一項後設解釋。最後，藉由進一步探討上述兩項後設解釋架構如何得以被用來解釋經濟理論構作，並藉由整合這兩項架構的方法論上之優點，本論文提出一項新的綜合後設解釋模型，該模型可在經濟學家面對經濟世界的不同起因結構時，為其理論構作之實作，提供各種不同的可行之解釋。
