本研究旨在探討同志基督徒身分認同歷程的本質與意涵，透過半結構式的深入訪談，訪談八位同志基督徒，再透過敘說研究法進行八份文本的分析，並歸納出五個共同主題：（1）從櫃內到櫃外，掙扎求同的邊緣人生；（2）從相識到相隔，真實滿愛的信仰生命；（3）相衝的身分，藏逃的罪人；（4）我的身分由我來定義，接納自己最重要；以及（5）回首苦難生力量，心懷盼望迎未來。

基於研究結果，本研究針對同志基督徒、諮商工作者與基督教社群，以及未來研究方面提出具體建言，期盼對相關實務與研究領域能有所助益。

The purpose of this research was to explore the meaning of the identity formation of gay and lesbian Christians. Through semi-structured in-depth interviews, this study collected 8 texts from 8 participants who were gay and lesbian Christians. The study conducted the narrative research to analyze the texts. The five essential themes evolved were: (a) from inside to outside the closet, the marginalized life of struggling in seeking self-identy and assurance from others; (b) from being acquainted with God to being apart, the religious life is full of true love; (c) the two identities in conflict, like a sinner hiding or fleeing; (d) let me define who I am, the most important thing is to accept myself; and (e) looking back at the past sufferings brings strength, facing the future with hope.

Based on these essential themes and discussions, some concrete suggestions were proposed for gay and lesbian Christians, counselors, Christian community, and future researchers.
