本文探討鹿港和永靖受訪者對鹿港腔、永靖腔和普通腔的腔調態度，參考Ladegaard & Sachdev（2006）的研究，將腔調態度分為「社會地位和能力」、「吸引力和內聚力」以及「語言品質」三個面向，並探討地區、性別和年齡變項對腔調態度的影響。此外，本研究也調查受訪者對自身腔調的學習、保存、傳承及地方腔融入本土語言教學的看法。調查對象為鹿港和永靖地區，共60位能分辨三種腔調的受訪者，男女比例各半，年齡分布在21歲至83歲，通過量化研究並輔以質化訪談進行分析。
研究結果顯示，地區變項是影響腔調態度的主要因素，在社會地位和能力面向中，鹿港人對鹿港腔的社會地位評價高於永靖人對鹿港腔的地位評價；而地區變項並不影響永靖腔和普通腔的社會地位和能力。在吸引力和內聚力面向中，鹿港人對鹿港腔的吸引力和內聚力評價較高，而永靖人對永靖腔的吸引力和內聚力評價較高。在語言品質面向中，兩地區居民對自身腔調的語言品質評價較高，對普通腔的語言品質評價為永靖人對普通腔評價高於鹿港人。年齡變項顯示，年齡越大的受訪者對鹿港腔的社會地位和能力評價越高。控制其他影響因素後，發現性別並不影響腔調態度。在腔調學習、保存、傳承及地方腔融入母語教學的看法，兩地居民皆持正向的看法，希望能將地方腔保存、傳承並融入母語教學中，尤其鹿港受訪者的態度較永靖受訪者的態度更積極。

This study examines the accent attitudes of respondents from Lukang and Yongjing toward the Lukang, Yongjing, and General Taiwanese accents. Referencing the research of Ladegaard & Sachdev (2006), this study categorizes accent attitudes into three dimensions: "social status and competence," "attractiveness and solidarity," and "language quality." It also explores the influence of region, gender, and age on these attitudes. Additionally, this study investigates respondents' perspectives on the learning, preservation, and transmission of their own accents, as well as the integration of local accents into native language education. A total of 60 respondents from Lukang and Yongjing, all capable of distinguishing between the three accents, participated in the survey, with an equal gender distribution and ages ranging from 21 to 83 years old. The analysis was conducted through quantitative research, supplemented by qualitative interviews.

The findings indicate that regional factors are the primary influences on accent attitudes. In the dimension of social status and competence, Lukang residents rate the social status of the Lukang accent higher than Yongjing residents do. However, regional factors do not affect the social status and competence ratings of the Yongjing and General Taiwanese accents. In the dimension of attractiveness and solidarity, Lukang residents rate the attractiveness of the Lukang accent higher, while Yongjing residents rate the Yongjing accent higher. In the dimension of language quality, residents of both regions rate the language quality of their own accents higher, with Yongjing residents rating the language quality of the General Taiwanese accent higher than Lukang residents do. The age variable shows that older respondents rate the social status of the Lukang accent higher. After controlling for other influencing factors, it was found that gender does not significantly impact accent attitudes. Regarding the learning, preservation, and transmission of accents, as well as the integration of local accents into native language education, residents of both regions hold positive views, with Lukang respondents demonstrating a more proactive attitude compared to those from Yongjing.
