本研究旨在探討國民中小學校長知識領導與學校智慧資本之關係。研究目的在於：（一）瞭解國民中小學校長知識領導之現況及其差異情形，（二）瞭解國民中小學學校智慧資本之現況及其差異情形，（三）探討國民中小學校長知識領導與學校智慧資本之關係。
研究方法主要採用問卷調查法蒐集研究資料並以訪談法為輔，以九十八學年度服務於桃竹地區國民中小學之教育人員為本研究之母群體。本研究抽取852位桃竹地區國民中小學之教育人員（包含級任、科任或專任、教師兼組長、主任、校長）為樣本施測，實得有效問卷675份，有效問卷回收率為79%。調查所得資料進行描述統計、t考驗、單因子變異數與結構方程式等統計方法。
本研究所獲致之結論如下：
一、桃竹地區國民中小校長知識領導之知覺現況良好。
二、桃竹地區國民中小學校智慧資本之知覺現況良好。
三、不同年齡、職務、學校歷史在校長知識領導上有顯著差異。
四、不同年齡、職務、服務年資不同、學校區域、學校歷史在學校智慧資本上有顯著差異。
五、校長知識領導與學校智慧資本呈現正向高度相關，校長知識領導能有效提昇學校智慧資本。

The research aimed at probing into the relation of elementary and junior high school principal knowledge leadership to school intellectual capital provides three goals:

1.To understand the status and differences among elementary and junior high school principal knowledge leadership
2.To understand the status and differences of school intellectual capital
3.To probe into the relation of elementary and junior high school principal knowledge leadership to school intellectual capital

The poll survey and information collection are mainly adopted, and interview is also conducted. The research sampled 852 teachers, directors and principals in Taoyuan, Hsinchu, and Miaoli area in 2009 school year, among them 675 polls are valid, which is 79%. Statistic approaches including description statistic, t test, one-way ANOVA and structure formula.

The conclusions of the research are as follow:
1.The perception of current status of principal knowledge leadership in elementary and junior high schools in Taoyuan and Hsinchu regions is well.
2.The perception of current status of school intellectual capital in elementary and junior high schools in Taoyuan and Hsinchu regions is well.
3.Various ages, positions, school history make notable differences in principal knowledge leadership.
4.Various ages, positions, seniorities, school districts and school history make notable differences in school intelligence capital.
5.Principal knowledge leadership and school intellectual capital display positive relationship- principal knowledge leadership can effectively promote school intelligence capital.
