摘 要
詞彙語義即在不同語境下會有不同語義呈現,而「動詞」更是幼兒日後建構完整句子與複雜句之前身(Bates、Bretherton、Snyder ,1998 )。本文研究主要以動詞多義項角度及Tomasello語言「建構論」觀點,探究2~3
歲客華雙語之三位幼兒於語言發展初期中,對客語高頻動詞語義掌握情形。如客語動詞「看」:(1)ngai「看」著一隻蟻公,此指「瞧、視」;(2)ngai要
看電視,此指「欣賞」;(3)ngai毋要分醫生看,此指「診斷」;(4)ngai要看阿太,此指「探望」;(5)大家看法無共樣,恁樣般正好?此指「見解」
等。展現不同語境下動詞呈現不同語義義項理解。
研究結果顯示三位幼兒對客語動詞語義掌握至少有一義項以上,幼兒語言
發展與生理發展年齡並無絕對關係,並依據研究語料結果與研究方法,提供學
術上、相關醫療單位、家長及對幼兒客語詞彙發展高度關切者,一份客語高頻
動詞語義檢核表,快速檢核該階段之幼兒已習得而尚未習得之動詞與語義義項參考。
ABSTRACT
The meaning of words under different contexts may vary; especially for verbs which constitute as significant key words in a complete and complex sentence that children try to make during their language development stages (Bates et. al., 1998). The main purpose of this research is to discuss how three children of ages between two and three, in the beginning of their language development stages, grasp the semantic information of Hakka’s highly variant language. This study addresses the above research questions from the perspective of multi-meaning of verbs, and from the “Language Constructionism” proposed by Tomasello(1992). For example, in Hakka, the word”看”(kon) has several different meanings. (1) I ”看”(kon) an ant, this means to see, to have in sight. (2) I want to”看” (kon) television, this means to watch. (3) I don’t want to be”看” (kon) by the doctor, this means to be diagnosed. (4) I want to”看” (kon) grandfather, this means to visit. Everyone’s 看 (kon) is different, what should we do? This means viewpoint. Therefore, under different contexts, a verb’s usage may represent different semantic information. The findings of this research have shown that the three children can grasp at least one of the multiple semantic information of Hakka verbs. It has also shown there is no correlation between children’s language development, and physical development and age. This research is in a hope to provide useful information to academic and medical units, parents, as well as those who have interests in children’s development of Hakka words.
