本文利用Kullback Leibler information quantity 的概念以及對於任一隨機變數 ,若其累積分配函數為 ,則 符合均勻分佈(Uniform distribution) 的觀念,提出一個可用來作為適合度檢定(Goodness of fit)的統計量—間距對數和(sum of log spacing),進而研究關於此統計量的各種性質、優點,且探討各種適合度檢定並與經驗分配函數相關的適合度檢定量做比較。最後用這種方法到實際的數據,檢定微陣列(Microarray)的資料是否符合目前常用的模型。
