在某些工業製程的實際應用上，製程或產品的品質特性是由反應變數和一或多個解釋變數間的關係來界定，而不再是一般的變數，這種反應變數和解釋變數之間的關係稱為輪廓函數。然而以往在文獻上被提出來監控輪廓函數的研究大部分都集中在反應變數為計量值(variable)的情況，極少討論反應變數是計數值(attribute)的情況。本文將針對反應變數為計數值的情形，且當反應變數與解釋變數之間為卜瓦松迴歸模型時，提出兩種監控製程的管制圖，並經由統計模擬來比較這兩種管制圖的優劣，我們也透過實際的例子來說明這兩種管制圖如何使用。
