近年來,電腦工業快速發展促使醫學影像檢查的進步,臨床醫師在界定腫瘤侵犯範圍時可以更為精確。現代化放射線治療的發展,使放射治療劑量的計算能夠更為準確,減少對正常組織的損害降低副作用,同時也可以提高腫瘤放射線劑量,更有效的殺死癌細胞。
本篇論文以中國人好發之鼻咽癌做為研究標的,針對三度空間順形治療、強度調控放射治療、質子治療與合併光子質子治療四種治療技術之放射治療計畫( radiotherapy treatment plan ),以等劑量曲線( isodose curve )、劑量-體積關係圖( dose-volume histogram; DVH )做為比較工具,期望能做為選擇各期鼻咽癌之放射治療技術或放射治療計畫時的參考。
