本實驗使用 SOI(silicon on insulator)晶圓,經由佈值、微影、蝕刻、氧化、沉積等製程步驟,製作出三電極分子元件。我們使用的分子是 C8H18S,在不同的溫度及閘極電壓下量測 Id-Vd曲線。實驗的進展並不順利,所作的元件皆無法正常工作,這是因為 Id會隨著 Ig改變以及有漏電的現象,不過在改良製程後已經解決上述的問題,卻也得到不同於以往的結果。
本篇論文第一章提到為何會有分子元件的構想及分子如何附著在電極上,第二章則是場效應的探討,主要是以楊松鑫的數據和我的數據進行比較,針對溫度、Id、Ig三者之間來探討C8分子是否真有場效應的產生,也討論了不同製程方法,可能導致不同結果的可能。第三章是將實驗所得的數據進行數據分析,在不同的溫度和施加不同的閘極電壓的情況下探討其傳導機制。第四章是結論,對整個實驗做個歸納和未來展望。
