本篇論文主要分析溫度效應對單波長光源與寬頻光源之微環型共振腔系統的影響。
論文的第一部分探討與比較單波長與寬頻光源系統的操作架構介紹、系統的規格介紹與兩者光源系統的比較。
論文的第二部分從環型共振腔的基本參數介紹、穿透頻譜公式的推導、臨界耦合的條件、消光比與插入損失的定義與其溫度效應分析的方式作詳細的說明。
論文的第三部分探討三種不同元件橫截面:脊狀金氧半電容式結構、脊狀垂直p/n結結構與脊狀水平p/n結結構之溫度的容忍範圍,最後比這三種元件橫截面的基本特性與溫度對消光比與插入損失的容忍範圍。
