本研究旨在探討社會比較與通訊科技使用感受的相關情形，以提供相關研究與輔導工作人員參考及使用。為達本研究之目的，研究者自行編製「大學生通訊科技使用感受量表」與「社會比較問卷」，根據文獻探討，歸納與整理出大學生通訊科技使用感受二內涵，分別為焦慮與恐懼以及自卑，據此編製本研究工具「大學生通訊科技使用感受量表」，並進一步建立量表之信、效度。另，依據文獻之定義將社會比較分為「向上比較」、「平行比較」與「向下比較」，並據此編題。本研究採問卷調查法，並以紙本問卷與網路問卷同時進行之方式，蒐集全國1057位大學生為研究對象，所獲得資料以描述性統計、積差相關、典型相關與多元逐步迴歸進行統計分析。
經由研究資料分析結果，重點如下：
一、整體而言，目前大學生的社會比較與通訊科技使用感受，每題平均得分分別為2.14分與2.06分，略低於平均值2.5分，屬中等偏低的程度。
二、大學生社會比較的三層面均與通訊科技使用感受二層面之相關呈現正相關，顯示社會比較越高，通訊科技使用感受越強烈。
三、大學生社會比較與通訊科技使用感受之典型相關結果，有一個路徑達顯著，解釋量佔總變異量的55.2%。
四、經由多元逐步迴歸分析結果，社會比較中的「向上比較」是最能用來解釋大學生通訊科技使用感受程度的預測變項。
最後依據上述之研究結果，進一步對實務上的應用與未來之研究，提供相關建議。

The main purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between social comparison and Perceptions of using communication technology among College students. Questionnaire survey was used as the method of this study. Subjects of 1057 College students in Taiwan were selected. The instruments applied in this study included “Basic Information Inventory”, “College Students’Pperceptions of Using Communication Technology”, “Social Comparison Questionair”and “Computer Anxiety Scale”. Data obtained in this study were analyzed by descriptive statistic, Pearson product-moment Correlation, Canonical Correlation and regression analysis. We discover a strong relation between social comparison and Perceptions of using communication technology among College students. From such a result, this paper suggests a further research on the role of school counseling.
