    Entrepreneurship as a concept has recently gained more significance for the acceleration economic growth in develop countries and developing countries. It is clear that entrepreneurial activities will boost the economy and health of a given area. Yet, there are many factors that will not promote subjects to engage in entrepreneurial activities. This study will be focusing more on the how does social stigma, support and role models affect the subjects in starting the entrepreneurial process. Leaving aside most of the macro-economic factors in the country moreover, some macro-economic factors will be considered such as government support. Social stigma is a broad field for the aimed of this research social stigma will be divided into fear of failure, stereotyping and community expectations. Then support will be analyzed coming from local communities, external communities, and government. Last but not least the effect of a role models will also be taken into account. It will try to find a connection between having a role model and the creating of a sustainable business model. With the existing gap in research in Honduras, this research proposed a research question of How does social stigma affects entrepreneurs in developing countries. We conducted semi-structured interviews to twelve entrepreneurs six in rural and six in urban. Based on the finding a grounded model was created which determines factors and barriers.
